Surface Cleaner focuses on wipe-cleaning washable hard areas, from floors to basins and from tiles to suitable kitchen worktops. The order is simple: prepare the water, measure the product in, and clean the soiled surface with the solution you have made.
Marble is among this product's areas of use. Even so, not every finish and material has the same care needs. On wood, laminate or specially treated surfaces in particular, follow the manufacturer's care instructions; a product being a general surface cleaner does not mean unconditional suitability for every item.

Marble, tiles and ceramics
You can use it on washable marble, tiles, ceramics, kitchen worktops and basins. On special finishes, delicate joints or surfaces with care restrictions, check the manufacturer's instructions first.

Add 100 ml of product to 5 litres of water. At this measure a 1000 ml bottle makes 10 batches. How much solution you need varies with the size of the surface and what you are cleaning; this calculation does not state a fixed area or length of use.
No rinsing needed
Wipe the surface with the solution you have prepared; you do not need to rinse afterwards. Choose a cloth or mop suited to the surface material. Do not leave excess water on wood and laminates that are sensitive to it.
How to apply it
How do you dilute the surface cleaner?
Choose a surface suitable for cleaning with water and get a measuring container of known volume ready.
Prepare the water
Set aside 5 litres of water for the solution.
Add 100 ml of product
Measure 100 ml of product into the water and mix.
Wipe the soiled surface
Apply the prepared solution to the suitable soiled surface. Using a cloth or mop that suits the surface's care instructions is recommended.
Finish the application
No rinsing is needed after wiping. Do not leave excess water on water-sensitive surfaces such as wood or laminate.
Go by the dilution ratio in the usage illustration. On special finishes, testing on a small out-of-sight area first is recommended; do not mix the product with other cleaners.

How many batches can I make from one bottle?
Using 100 ml of product each time, a 1000 ml bottle makes 10 batches. Each measure uses 5 litres of water. This calculation is based on the bottle size and the usage ratio; it is not a guarantee of how many rooms or square metres will be cleaned or how long the bottle will last.
Should I pour it on neat, without diluting?
Dilute the product by adding 100 ml to 5 litres of water and apply the solution to the soiled surface. You can use a container of known volume to measure. On delicate finishes in particular, test the first application on a small out-of-sight area and follow the surface's own care instructions.
Can it be used on marble?
Marble is included in this product's manufacturer usage information. Even so, apply it after checking the surface's special finish and care instructions. Do not confuse it with the Bathroom and Toilet Cleaner: that product's instructions expressly exclude marble and polished surfaces. Two products being used in similar areas does not make their limits the same.
Can it be used instead of the Wood Cleaner?
The general product description also covers wood and laminate surfaces; but the application must be compatible with the surface's own care instructions. If you are specifically looking for a product for wood care, the lavender-scented Wood Cleaner is a separate option. Both products use the same recommended ratio: 100 ml to 5 litres of water.
Do I need to go over it again with clean water?
Rinsing is not needed. After wiping a suitable surface with a solution made at the recommended ratio, you do not need to add a separate rinsing step. This does not remove the care needs of special equipment or different materials; consider those instructions alongside.
How is it different from the surface wipe?
This liquid product is measured, mixed with water and applied with a cloth or mop. The Surface Cleaning Wipe is a ready-to-use format of 250 sheets; it can be chosen for wiping a small hard surface without making up a solution. You can decide between the two by the area involved and how much preparation you want.
