Herbaclean Bathroom and Toilet Cleaner is a soap-scented 500 ml spray cleaner for dirt and limescale deposits on bathroom surfaces. It is used on basins, shower enclosures, baths, tiles and the toilet. It is not used on marble or polished surfaces; on taps, check that the finish is suitable for the product. Follow the separate application steps given for the inside of the toilet and for other surfaces. Do not mix it with other cleaning products.

Bathroom surfaces and the toilet
Cleaning bathroom surfaces and the toilet.
Deposits in the shower enclosure, the area around the basin and the inside of the toilet are different application points. The spray pack lets you apply the product straight onto the surface; but a dwell time used on one surface should not be generalised to the whole bathroom. This product's instructions treat the inside of the toilet separately from other surfaces.
Checking the materials in your bathroom is the first step. There may be a marble basin top right next to a tiled or ceramic area. Marble and polished surfaces are outside the product's area of use; assess the finish on taps too, according to the manufacturer's care advice.

Basins, shower enclosures and tiles
You can use it on basins, shower enclosures, baths, tiles and ceramic floors made of a suitable material. Do not apply it to marble or polished surfaces. Check the finish on taps; do not let the product splash onto stone or polished areas nearby.
30 minutes inside the toilet
Apply the product evenly around the inside of the bowl, wait 30 minutes and flush. For heavy limescale deposits you can leave it overnight and brush if needed. Do not use this long dwell time on taps, shower enclosures or other surfaces.
Spray, wipe or rinse
Spray the soap-scented product onto suitable surfaces other than the toilet; clean by wiping or rinsing. Do not mix it with other cleaning agents. If you are using more than one product in the bathroom, follow the instructions for each and keep them from mixing on the same surface.

Set marble and polished surfaces aside; check the care instructions for taps and finishes.
Choose a suitable surface
Identify a suitable surface such as a basin, shower enclosure, bath, tile or ceramic. Take care that the product does not come into contact with marble or polished areas.
Clean the bathroom surface
Spray the product onto the suitable surface. Finish by wiping or rinsing; do not use the long dwell times given for the inside of the toilet on these areas.
Let it stand inside the toilet
Apply it evenly around the inside of the bowl with a circular movement. Wait 30 minutes, then flush.
Treat heavy deposits separately
For heavier limescale deposits inside the toilet, the instructions allow leaving it overnight and using a brush if needed. Flush afterwards.
Do not mix it with other cleaning products. Do not use it on marble or polished surfaces. Check that the finish on taps and fittings is suitable.

Can I use it on a marble basin top?
No. The product's instructions expressly exclude marble and polished surfaces. If there is a marble top next to a ceramic basin, do not treat the two areas as the same material. To clean the marble surface, choose a product and method that suit that stone's care instructions.
Should it be left for 30 minutes on every surface?
No. The 30-minute dwell time is given for the inside of the toilet bowl. On other suitable bathroom surfaces, the product is sprayed and then wiped or rinsed. Do not apply the toilet dwell time to taps, fittings or shower enclosures; check the care instructions for those surfaces separately.
Can I leave it in the toilet overnight?
For heavier limescale deposits inside the toilet you can leave it overnight and brush if needed. Leaving it overnight is only for the inside of the toilet; do not do this on other bathroom surfaces. Do not mix it with other cleaning agents, and flush when you are done.
What should I watch out for on taps and fittings?
Before cleaning limescale off taps and fittings, check with the manufacturer's care instructions that the finish is suitable for this product. Apply carefully; do not use the long dwell times given for the toilet on these parts. Do not use it on polished surfaces.
