Everyday dirt on a wood floor and a mark on a wooden cabinet turn up at different points in the same home. Wood Surface Cleaner is made for those surfaces: the working solution is prepared with water, the soiled area is cleaned, and no second rinsing step is needed.
The lavender scent is one of the product's distinctive features. As well as the scent, think about the finish on the surface and how it needs to be looked after. Wood can be affected by too much water; applying the prepared solution in a controlled way matters as much as using little product.

Wood floors, furniture and cabinets
You can clean wood floors, wooden furniture, doors and kitchen cabinets at the same dilution. Because the finish and water resistance of wood varies, check the care instructions for the surface. Wipe without wetting the floor or the furniture more than necessary.

Add 100 ml of product to 5 litres of water. At this ratio a 1000 ml bottle makes 10 separate batches. Measure the product with a container of known volume; decide how much solution to prepare according to what you need to clean.
Lavender-scented, no rinsing
After wiping with the solution you have prepared, there is no need to rinse the surface. You can use this lavender-scented product for the everyday cleaning of wood floors, wooden doors and furniture. Do not leave excess water on the wood.
How to apply it
How do you clean a wooden surface?
Start by checking that the surface can be cleaned with water and by reading its own care instructions.
Measure
Add 100 ml of product to 5 litres of water and mix. Using a container of known volume to measure is recommended.
Apply with care
Apply the solution you have prepared to the soiled wooden surface. Using a well-wrung cloth or mop is recommended so that the wood does not get too wet.
Finish the job
Do not rinse after wiping the surface. Do not leave excess water standing on the surface; follow the care instructions for the wood.
Trying the first application on a small, out-of-sight area is recommended. On raw, specially treated wood, or wood that is not suitable for cleaning with water, do not assume it is suitable simply because of the product's general area of use.

How many batches does one bottle make?
Measuring 100 ml of product per batch, a 1000 ml bottle makes 10 batches. Each measure is added to 5 litres of water. How much solution you use depends on the size of the area and how soiled it is; how long the bottle lasts depends on how often you use it.
Do I need to rinse after wiping?
No, rinsing is not needed. Once you have wiped the surface with a solution prepared at the recommended ratio, you do not need to go over it with clean water. Take care not to leave excess water on the wood; the fact that the product needs no rinsing does not mean you should wet the surface heavily.
Can it only be used on wood floors?
No. You can also use it on wooden furniture, doors and kitchen cabinets whose care instructions allow it. However, an item being made of wood does not on its own mean it is suitable for every cleaning method. If it is lacquered, veneered or has a special surface treatment, follow that item's care instructions first.
How is it different from the general Surface Cleaner?

Should I add more product to protect the wood?
Keep to the recommended ratio: 100 ml to 5 litres of water. Rather than adding more product, measure the right amount and wipe without over-wetting the wood. This product is for cleaning everyday dirt; it does not replace a treatment that calls for wood polish or a finishing-care oil.
